Heather has taught me how I can bring joy to everyone around me. Whether it was through dance or my relationships with my teammates, she has always been there to show me how to find the joy in everything, how to uplift and encourage the people around me, and how to have fun in any circumstance (Maryn). She has taught me what it means to be a teammate and the importance of contributing to a positive team environment! She also showed me what it looks like to be selfless and to care about helping others (Gracie) and that being a good teammate is part of being a good dancer (Sara).

Life ebbs and flows. It brings joy, challenges and changes. The same goes for PBD and the people that create a positive environment throughout the organization. Heather Bryant, a PBD staff member for 11 years will be turning her focus onto other beautiful areas of life for the time being. While it is difficult to see her step away from PBD, we are grateful for the time Heather has graciously poured out her heart and passion into something she cares so deeply about. Heather, a PBD Alumni, spent her time changing the lives of dancers and young people for the many years she walked in and out of the studio. She shared her experiences, taught from a heart of humility, and coached with a mind of creativity.
The impact she’s made is evident in the student’s comments as expressed above and in the way they continue to grow as people in the world. PBD’s door will always open for Heather but for now we wish her the best on her current pathway. Thank you for giving your time and your spirit to hundreds of people over the years, Heather! We admire you.
Adam Lee has stepped up and accepted the role as Junior A Performing Team Director for the remainder of the season and PBD has welcomed Rachel Ma as the Assistant coach for this team. Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge in technique and competitive experience.
We are looking forward to accepting Rachel into the PBD community and everything she has to offer to the Junior A Performing Team this year. Welcome, Rachel!
