Adult Program
How do your classes work?

Our classes are taught as a series of four sessions to maximize your exposure to each specific style of dance.

How much are your classes?

We have two options for you. Either drop in on any class for $20/class (depends on space availability) or purchase a One Month Pass for $60 (4 sessions for that calendar month).

Do your classes rollover?

No, the credits for our classes do not rollover. If you have to miss a class, we can record the material taught during the class, and we can give you access to the video. or you can simply attend any of the classes that month.

What if a class is cancelled due to weather?

We will add a credit to your account that can be applied to future classes.

Do you have a minimum enrollment for each class?

Yes, in order to hold class, we need at least 6 students enrolled. At the beginning of each month, please stop by the front desk and let them know what class or classes you will be taking that month. Classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation.

Can I come to class as an assistant?

Yes, but only when requested by the instructor.

Can I bring a friend to the class?

Yes! And if that friend is brand new to Pacific Ballroom Dance, you both get a FREE class.

Is there a special for new students?

Yes, all new students can try their first class for FREE.

Do you have a season pass?

No, we currently don’t offer a season pass.

Do you have social dances every week?

Yes, we are currently hosting Latin nights on Thursdays and Shall We Dance events on Saturdays. Both events are from 8:30 pm to 10 pm. They include a 30-minute complementary lesson followed by 60 minutes of open practice.

What is the difference between Latin Night and Shall We Dance events?

Their format is identical, but the main difference is in the variety of music that will be played. During Latin night (Thursdays) you can expect to dance salsa, bachata, merengue, rumba, samba, cumbia, cha cha, and bolero. During Shall We Dance night (Saturdays) you can expect to dance to a variety of ballroom, Latin, west coast swing, and country & western tunes.
