Scholarship Opportunities
At Pacific Ballroom Dance we believe all dancers should have the opportunity to participate in our programs.
With the help of gracious donors we have scholarship opportunites available to our dancers who need access to financial assistance.
The Mitchell Parker Scholarship
• For Competition Team Dancers
• Applications available in October
Mitchell danced for numerous years and going to the Nationals Competition was an especially meaningful experience for him. This scholarship has been established by his family to help students with financial need cover their costs of going to Nationals.
Ohana Scholarship

Joy of Dance Scholarship
• Donated by the Remer Family
• Dancers noiminated by their Performing Team coaches in November
The Remer Family has established the annual Pacific Ballroom “Joy of Dance” scholarship. This award will be presented to the PBD student from each of the Pre-Teen, Junior, and Youth levels who best embodies the art of dancing joyously.
Merit Award
• Applications available in September
The Merit Award is given to students who embody and can articulate the PBD values. Awardees are evaluated on time and dedication devoted to dance, as well as other activities that help build character.
