Tanning and Hair Dye Resources & Recommendations
There are a ton of products out there for self-tanning and sunless tanning. You are welcome to choose whichever method fits your schedule or budget, but here is our recommendation:
-
-
- Get a Spray tan the day before we leave for competition (Thursday) or apply your first coat of lotion.
- Bring along a good tanning lotion to apply the night before competition (Example: if your team final is Saturday, apply Friday night).
- If you have never used the lotion you choose, try it out a couple weeks in advance. Then you can see if it applies evenly and how long it lasts. You can also find a make-up foundation that will match. If you find you have streaks, try mixing your tanning lotion with a regular lotion for the first coat.
- Make sure to exfoliate. Read instructions for how long to wait to shower or sweat.
