We are overjoyed to announce that Landon and Hannah Anderson will be joining our staff next year as team coaches, syllabus instructors, Dancing Classrooms Teaching Artists, and private instructors. Hannah and Landon are newlyweds who have been ballroom competition partners for the past 2 years. “We are so excited to join the PBD family this coming year!” said Hannah. “I am from Washington and was a part of Pacific Ballroom Dance in High School, so I am excited to journey back home to PBD after being away at BYU and working with BYU youth for the past seven years.”

Landon and Hannah Anderson both began dancing when they were 2 years old, starting in ballet, jazz, and other styles. Landon found ballroom at a very young age with the stipulation that he would get a dog if he participated. He soon after grew to love it and became very accomplished with his partners, gaining the United States National Under 21 latin title as well as many other US titles. He also has been seen on such shows as Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. Landon is also the 3 time United States Amateur Cabaret Champion, twice with his sister, Charity Anderson. Hannah began ballroom dancing at age 11 and with her partners earned US titles in Junior 1 and 2 Ballroom and Latin.

Hannah danced at PBD on the Youth Premier Team before attending Brigham Young University. Both Hannah and Landon were members of the BYU Ballroom Dance Touring Company and competed at the British Formation Championships in Blackpool England in 2016 and 2019, earning first place awards both times, first in ballroom formation and then in Latin formation. They decided to combine their loves of Ballroom and Latin and became Amateur Smooth partners 2 years ago. They are currently placed second in the nation for Amateur Smooth, are Embassy Ball Finalists and New York Dance Festival Amateur Smooth Winners, two years in a row. Landon and Hannah were married in February of 2020 and love dancing together, watching movies, spending time outdoors, and playing with their pooch, Gus Gus! They are thrilled to be at PBD and share their love of dance with everyone!
